I developed all aspects of gameplay, game systems, and tools, including dynamic and procedural weather, a layered interaction system to support non-linear storytelling, and an asset importer tool to automate art iteration for level assets.

In previous projects, me and the narrative team used tools such as Twine or Articy 3 as visual branching dialogue tools to support the narrative of our games. However, integrations for such tools either had to be done manually (string-parsing with a Twine story export) or were tailored to specific workflows that did not suit our project. This made me think of an idea – what if I were to write my own visual story tool?
